jack72 0 Posted July 17, 2009 I am trying to reinstall OFF3 after having already installed. I had OFF2 on the machine and did not know that I had to delete OFF2 before installing OFF3. Yesterday I deleted OFF3 using the unistall tool, and tried to delete the OFF2 but did not see an uninstall tool. I went into my directory and deleted it manually. I tired looking in the Regedit to see any remenants of the two games but did not see anything. I then reinstalled OFF3 and noticed in my directory I had a download file that I created holding all the patches show up. Therefor I am not sure if OFF3 or if OFF2 is really gone. What is the best prodcedure to ensure that OFF 2 and OFF3 is deleted from my system and I can run a clean install. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
77Scout 3 Posted July 17, 2009 Actually, it is not necessary to delete Phase 2 as the Phase 3 installer is smart enought to install over it, or do a bare install as necessary. Installing Phase 3 would not make your old download folder re-appear so I suspect it was maybe never deleted in the first place?? Is your install working...if so, maybe you have no worries?
