Guest British_eh Posted August 10, 2009 (edited) Hi there: It's on my next book list. Just finished "Flying Fury" by J. McCudden, which was great for relaying the days as they were for him as a pilot. I thought "Saggitaruis Rising" was a bit to much flowery prose, and philisophical musings, to be taken too seriously. shredward 12 Posted August 10, 2009 Yeates flew Camels with 46 Sqn through most of 1918; his Flight Leader was Donald MacLaren. His book takes you inside his head, and lets you feel the emotions, and the fear of a pilot at the Front better than any book I can think of. Absolutely required reading.
