stingray77 Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 (edited) When flying at dawn or dusk and towards the sun low, the sun keeps shining through the cockpit structure and gauges. Is this "as it comes", or is it connected to some AddOn installed (I have some planes, skins and the beautiful "SF2V Air and Ground War Expansion Pack v1.0 by malibu43" installed) - and/or can there be sth. done about it? Sorry, I forgot to take screenies... (I know: everybody LOVES them! ) Edited August 13, 2009 by stingray77
+FastCargo Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 Screenshots would be useful. Also, type of aircraft, consistency across aircraft, etc. would be useful info to have. FC
+Gr.Viper Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 Any plane in stock SF2. Sun glare sprite is drawn over cockpit.
stingray77 Posted August 13, 2009 Author Posted August 13, 2009 Yep, I'll provide some screenies asap - but it was the standard F-4 and it seemed quite more than just "glare"!
stingray77 Posted August 14, 2009 Author Posted August 14, 2009 ...here it comes... I think in this position the sun shouldn't shine through the dashboard. How is it in your games?
+Fubar512 Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 I've never encountered that, in my almost 7 years of tweaking this series.
Silverbolt Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 i've found this first in WoE, using Wrench's ANW 4 seasons mod(it came with own enviroimentalsystem.ini).
malibu43 Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 i've found this first in WoE, using Wrench's ANW 4 seasons mod(it came with own enviroimentalsystem.ini). Maybe it has to do with a "RenderInOrder=" option set somewhere...
stingray77 Posted August 17, 2009 Author Posted August 17, 2009 Okay, if it (originally) comes like that, I'll (have to) live with it...... Maybe "over the time" somebody will find a fix and include it in a patch..... Thanks for your feedback!
