Loading a Test B61

Here are some pictures from a couple years back of my crew loading a single test B-61 on a CSRL (Common Strategic Rotary Launcher) in the B-52 bay.

if one of those fall in the ground, how much time you have to get in panic before be vaporized?:grin:

Out of interest is there a time limit to loading nukes? And roughly how long does it take to load one of these?

oh, there are time limits, a few hours for a single aircraft, a few days for a squadron. I can't discuss exact numbers.

Is pic #3 supposed to actually be #6, after it's been retracted into the bay? I notice the shape isn't there in that pic but is in 2 and 4 after it...

no, the B-61 is on the bottom of the CSRL, close to ground so it's hard to see.
