Stiffy Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 So ive installed the multiplayer patch program and backed up as offline, backed up as onnline. I start multiplayer.... and it crashes. Just after the loading screen. Right clicking cfs3mp and running as administrator has the same effect. What am I doing wrong? Quote
Red-Dog Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Hi Stiffy i had the same prob, are you on team speak? Quote
Stiffy Posted October 15, 2009 Author Posted October 15, 2009 No sorry, not yet! did you find a solution for your problem? Quote
Vasco Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 Stiify, Get Teamspeak installed and go to the Black Haze server we use. Without it you're not going to be able to fly in multiplayer anyway. Contact any of the guys who are online and they'll set you up for MP. Vasco Quote
sitting_duck Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 all just guesses here,,,based on some other peopls problems.. you said you set cfs3mp.exe to run as administrator,,,if you are on vista,,,you also have right click on it,,properties...compatibility tab,,and set to run in compatibility for xp sp2 make sure your resoulution in cfs3config is set as high as it will go... find your uisel.xml file (for xp its documents and settings\xxxxxx\applicationdata\microsoft\cfsww1 over flanders fields),,,where xxxxx is either administrator or your user name, and delete it..it will rebuild when the game starts... if you have vista,,,just do a search for it,,cause ive given up on trying to figure out how ppl get to that folder in vista.... Stiffy Posted October 15, 2009 Author Posted October 15, 2009 Thanks Sitting_duck it was the compatibility! Now.... when is there a game on? Quote
Axgrinder Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 (edited) I knew you would fix it! Now, if you haven't done so, go get a headset with mic! After that we will certainly see you in the game! Edited October 15, 2009 by Axgrinder Quote
