+wilco Posted June 14, 2010 Posted June 14, 2010 (edited) Cool! Edit: Have you changed the mapping? Edited June 14, 2010 by wilco Quote
Guest flavius_opium_maccus Posted June 14, 2010 Posted June 14, 2010 (edited) New Model I asked if those skins are compatible with similar model in WOI. Are they ? BTW , when will they be ready ? Edited June 14, 2010 by flavius_opium_maccus Quote
+76.IAP-Blackbird Posted June 14, 2010 Posted June 14, 2010 (edited) This is the answer, looks like no. sometimes you can map the model like the old one. Just use the same polys for the same coordinates of the skin. But it`s much easier to map it and arrange the template from scratch ;) Edited June 14, 2010 by 76.IAP-Blackbird Quote
+wilco Posted June 14, 2010 Posted June 14, 2010 new model, new map I was asking because I just found the unfinished template I started way back. Well, looks like I have to make a new one. Let's just hope I don't get distracted again. Quote
Lexx_Luthor Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 Veltro your Vautour (and Mirage IV) are the Shnizzle thank you so much. Vautour and Mirage IV make me want to include France on the Ring Of Fire map (strategic strike bases totally surrounding USSR). Even if I don't include France, I've read RAF (or politicians I don't know) gave some thought to adopting Mirage IV, given TSR.2 cancellation. Just a possible campaign variable to spice things up. RGR that "After the British government cancelled the British Aircraft Corporation (BAC) TSR.2 low-level strike aircraft in 1965, a "Mirage IV*" was proposed as a replacement for the British Royal Air Force. The Mirage IV* would have been license-built by BAC and was to have featured the avionics suite developed for the TSR.2, as well as a fuselage extension of 61 centimeters (2 feet) and twin Rolls-Royce Spey 25R afterburning turbofans, providing 93.4 kN (9,525 kgp / 21,000 lbf) thrust each. Lexx_Luthor Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 (edited) Sold to me! Fairey Delta III or something similar is another, far more fantasy possibility. FD3 profile ~> http://rp-one.net/f_155_t/fd_iii.html Very nice Just found this, F155T competition ~> http://rp-one.net/f_155_t/f155t.html The Avro Canada Arrow was also considered for RAF service, allthough not strictly for the F155T requirement. Instead the CF-105 would have been ordered instead of the Thin-Wing Javelin, to requirement F153. However, had this occurred then the F155T requirement might not have been raised, so it is a worthwhile inclusion here. Edited June 15, 2010 by Lexx_Luthor Quote
