+Soulfreak Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 Hi guys, i have convertet the seasoned Amercan NW Terrain to my SF2 Europe install. But now I´m a bit bored about the "stock" airfields. My question is now, how can i change them with the "new" airbases from pureblue? Hope someone from the terrain gurus can help! ;) Quote
EricJ Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 (edited) I would think.... [TargetArea002] Name=Elk Airfield Position=259576,345592 Radius=6000.000 ActiveYear=0 Location=1 Alignment=FRIENDLY AirfieldDataFile=desert_airfield4.ini <---- Change to whatever ini is in the terrain NumSquadrons=6 Where the "desert_airfield4.ini" could be changed to whatever the ini that is in the Anatolia terrain to the new one. Find the appropriate entry and copy the info from the _TARGETS.ini and it should work.. Edited November 27, 2009 by EricJ Quote
Wrench Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 (edited) by a simple copy/paste of the relevant target area. Meaning: We'll leave Elk alone, as that's the Runway 4 and therefore the main NA Alliance 'Big Bomber Base' , but say you want to change Grizzly from Runway5 to whichever... [ [TargetArea003] Name=Grizzly Airbase Position=143000.000,164000.000 Radius=6000.000 ActiveYear=0 Location=2 Alignment=ENEMY everything below the linse above gets deleted. You need to keep these first 7 lines, as they 'locate' the target area, give it it's boundry region, operational years, location and most importantly, alignment. this stuff below, ie Target]001[ through Target]095[ in this case ----> AirfieldDataFile=desert_airfield5.ini NumSquadrons=3 Target[001].Type=Runway5 Target[001].Offset=0,0 Target[001].Heading=330 Target[002].Type=Tower1 -snipped to save space in the post- Target[095].Offset=-900,-1175 Target[095].Heading=150 Target[095].ActiveYear=1933 get deleted. Then, you just copy/paste the lines from AirfieldDataFile= on down to the last numbered target listing -making sure you have ALL the lines for each numbered statement, including ActiveYear= for any airdefense units or whathaveyous, and ZING! A new airfield I do it ALL the time, there's nothing too it. wrench kevin stein Edited November 27, 2009 by Wrench Quote
