We did that last week! We practiced take offs, landings, tight formation flying, peeling off to attack enemy aircraft in order and we had guys separate from the main body for a distance then find their way back. But I'm sure some of the newer guys would like to practice their flying skills.

I think its a GREAT idea.

I am always open for better ways to fly and follow other planes. I think it would be a good idea to fly in pairs and get used to that as well.

After the last mission, I think it was called, "Lawn Darts From The Great War"........I know I need a little more practice.

well..for anyone interested...lets pick a day/time thats good for everyone...

and if ppl can start thinking about formation "manuvers" they would like to incorporate...

but lets agree to take it slow.....when we can take off,,,turn,,and land in sync,,then we can think about doing loops...

oh,,picking a plane might be a good idea also.....

Agreed! We are flying with real life wingmen and the advantages are more than just a better pilot than the AI. Human wingmen give you an extra set of eyes to survey the fight, often times things are happening around you that you do not see because of all the action in front of you. Also they can confirm your kills for you, not so much if you're off tree hopping over lone enemy craft by yourself. grin.gif The REASON I play multiplayer is to fly WITH other HUMAN pilots. I'm always looking for the "lightblue" on the TAC and offer support when possible.

Don't know if i'm ready for any blueangles stuff just yet. hehe But some practice flying in formation and learning some 'team' tactics would be fun! King, Firecage and i had a great fight yesterday. That's why I love MP!

Exactly Mac!!!

Watching each others "six", confirming kills, learning which way to "break" at enemy aircraft. All this stuff helps in combat. Team Tactics..............yea that's the stuff!!!

Let me know when and where..............

On a closely related note, I'd be in for practicing flying as pairs in combat. That seems to be something we don't do much of in online games.

Might be the best reason to practice this stuff!!!!!

As the game gets a little more realistic....................flying will take a little more effort.

Maybe not as close as SittingDuck and I tried yesterday......but within a good visual of each other. I am available most early afternoons through the week. Let me know
