TurtleHawk 6 Posted December 16, 2009 (edited) This morning at 9:30 local, I think I saw two Hunters, and a Mirage, departing together. And then what looked like an A-4 departing Miramar. Then about 15 minutes later 4 F-18s in close formation behind them, which is not unusual. Can anyone tell me if I was seeing "mirages", or could that really have been a Mirage. I suspect that is the MAW which will support the upcoming Afghanistan deploment of the MEB coming out of Pendleton, hence the increased air training sorties.
