First Eagles and Windows7

I know FE was made for XP, and there are issues using it with Vista(soon to be fixed I believe), but now new PC's use Windows7. Will it work with Windows7? Does anyone have and use FE with Windows7? I'm in the market for a new PC. Mine died again. This time it doesnt look good

You can put XP on your new PC if you like - however it will work on Vista and Win 7 because I use it on Win 7 64

 

Install it outside the program files/(x86) folders, and then patch it to the latest patch Nov 08 I think

 

 

You can also right click the shortcut on the desktop to set the compatibility and also set it to run as admin.

Works fine in Win 7 64-bit Home Premium...don't even have to run it in compatability mode.

You can let the install default to program files (x86): everything registers properly. FE even loads faster under W7. I'm running W7 Ult_64.

I do not mean to necro this topic (last post on the topic 2010) but it worked like a charm with Win7.
