Slartibartfast Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 First one is already delivered for training purposes etc. Quote
Silverbolt Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 wow, this is a tall plane...i didn't realize that i was so big. Quote
Slartibartfast Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 Well they do build em big in Tashkent... I think that these are re-builds. First one was delivered 20th December after training in the Ukraine where these birds are being modified. Quote
SayethWhaaaa Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 Are they still building them?? I heard (From AFM) Russia was in the sh*t because their Il-76s are reaching the end of their useful lives, very quickly, with no replacement on the horizon. I thought most of these "new" aircraft were rebuilds and refurbs of existing Il-76s. Quote
macelena Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 Will they fit all the aircraft in PakAir? Even the F-16s and C-130s? Quote
Slartibartfast Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 Yeah I think the only bird they can't refuel in the Pak Air Force is the F-16's as all the other jets have Probesor can be fitted with probes. Quote
+ghostrider883 Posted January 19, 2010 Author Posted January 19, 2010 They have fitted refuelling probes on their Mirages(IIIs & Vs) Quote
