RN and Argentinian Westland Sea King problem with Falklands 1982 mod

I've noticed a strange problem with both the Westland Sea King (RN and Argentinian),often the rotors stop working and the helicopter fly as a glider.How can I do for resolve this strange problem?

don't know about the gliding but helicopter in third wire game act like helo planes to solve the rotors look below

 

go to engine section and find

 

PropDiameter=5.245

 

usually its under engine 2 and 3 in helocopter data section and anything under 6.0 should make it spin properly.

 

enjoy, my values is 5.245 for engine 2 and 2.67 for engine 3

I've done the changes you tell me, but without results.I've installed Falklands 1982 mod on WOV with the patch 8.30.06

here is what i recomend install wov, patch latest get it at thirdwire (i believe your current patch not latest), and weapon pack whatever you wish make sure properly install and then the falklands mod and then fixing up the aircrafts/helicopters

Sounds to me that the Sea Kings have run out of fuel.

That's the value for the fuel consumption. Lower the value (i.e. something like 0.00001) and see whether the rotors keep stopping.

it's the standard "rotor diameter" problem that was created by the 08 patchs for 1st GEns.

 

Look for the "PropDiamter" line in the Engine sections -as pointed out above-, reduce said diameter to less than 6 meters (5.5 would be fine), and issue is solved

 

Remember, too, this mod was built with the 06 patch level in mind, running in the 08 level 1st GEns or in ANY SF2 install, you WILL run into all sorts of interestering problems
