USMC Rules for Gunfighting

1. Bring a gun. Preferably, bring at least two guns. Bring all of your friends who have guns.

2. Bring a gun that works EVERY TIME.

3. Do not attend a gunfight with a handgun, the caliber of which does not start with a .4

4. If you can choose what to bring to a gunfight, bring a long gun and a friend with a long gun.

5. Only hits count. The only thing worse than a miss is a slow miss.

6. Accuracy is relative: most combat shooting standards will be more dependent on pucker factor than the inherent accuracy of the gun.

7. Anything worth shooting is worth shooting twice. Ammo is cheap. Your life is expensive.

8. Someday someone may kill you with your own gun, but they should have to beat you to death with it because it is empty.

9. If your shooting stance is good, you're probably not moving fast enough nor using cover correctly.

10. Move away from your attacker. Distance is your friend. (Lateral and diagonal movement are preferred.)

11. If you are not shooting, you should be communicating, reloading, and running.

12. Always cheat; always win. The only unfair fight is the one you lose.

13. In ten years nobody will remember the details of caliber, stance, or tactics. They will only remember who lived.

14. Have a plan.

15. Have a back-up plan, because the first plan won't work.

16. Be polite. Be professional. But, have a plan to kill everyone you meet.

17. Use cover or concealment as much as possible.

18. Flank your adversary when possible. Protect yours.

19. Don't drop your guard.

20. Always tactical load and threat scan 360 degrees.

21. Watch their hands. Hands kill. (In God we trust. Everyone else, keep your hands where I can see them).

22. Decide to be aggressive ENOUGH, quickly ENOUGH.

23. The faster you finish the fight, the less shot you will get.

24. Be courteous to everyone, friendly to no one.

25. Your number one Option for Personal Security is a lifelong commitment to avoidance, deterrence, and de-escalation.

A word of warning to those who wish my shipmates harm, The AO's trained ALL personel in our squadron to shoot and kill!!! That means our females too, and most have BAD, BAD, I mean BAD.....PMS. The most dangerous watch stander in the Navy is a lady sailor with PMS and a weapon who just found out here boyfriend cheated on her.

ok bad joke.lol

Seriously, just been busy trying to get this 1.02 patch out for Lomac. I thought being on the beta team would be fun, but as with anything like this it's a whole different story once you get into it. It can still be fun, but it's a lot of work at the same time. Throw in mod duties at the jungle we like to call the Ubi foums and it makes for some fun times.lol

I make new enemies everyday so it's cool.lol

Glad to see you guys still kicken though. ;)
