not knowing much about red tec :grin: exploring the area now :grin: are all Russian/Soviet Fulcrums lacking any ECM options ? ( What about the W.Germany ones? )

No ECM. The later model "fatback" MiG-29 models were the first to carry ECM units, inside their enlarged dorsal spines.

MiG-29 isdelije 9.12, 9.12A and 9.12B had no internal jammers and had no jammer pods.

MiG-29 isdelije 9.13, MiG-29M isd. 9.15, MiG-29K isd 9.31 had internal jammers

MiG-29UB isd.9.51 had no jammers.

 

By the way, a MiG-29A does not exist. Its a mixture between the NATO designation code and the soviet designation. MiG-29 (isdelje 9.12) Fulcrum-A became MiG-29A. So MiG-29 (isdelije 9.13) Fulcrum-C became MiG-29C. Both designations are wrong. :clapping:
