+paulopanz Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 (edited) Yesterday I was wondering about all the planes that are in the works and I'ld like to fly (and maybe to skin) one of these days .... ... my favourite are the Buc, the Alpha Jet and the Magister, but there is a nice soviet early plane that I'ld like very much to use in our sim, too: the YAK-23 FLORA This plane was made by Yakolev after the smaller Yak-15 (done) and was in service with several Warsaw Pact air forces before the Mig-15. Has anyone this model in the makings ? Could anyone make this little (red) bird ? There is a good model for MS Flight Sim somewhere .... I'm only a learnig painter but I'ld be here to help the brave who would like to do the job. Let me know modders ... Paolo Edited March 24, 2010 by paulopanz Quote
Guest rscsjsuso5 Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 we haven't developed this aircraft yet but for an alternative model you migth subsititue it for a mig 9 fargo and do some little tweaks to make it a yak23 like maybe skin or you can contact the mig 9 creator for the 3dmax file to edit to make it more like the yak23 and thus template. The natural 'fake Yak-23' should be the Yak-15 ... but I mean a 'real' Yak-23 not a place holder .... Quote

+paulopanz Posted March 25, 2010 Author Posted March 25, 2010 This is the father of all them The Messerschmitt P-1106 Gracias Marcos! You are right they are very similar ... ... except the german style arrow wing first introduced with Mig-15. The Yak-15 and 17 had a Junkers Jumo engine, too. The main difference between Yak-15 and Yak-17 was nose wheel for the Yak-17. The Yak-23 had a beeter Rolls Royce Derwent V engine. Paul 1 Quote

+ojcar Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 By the way, I think the model is from Pasko. It's a project announced in Pasko's site. So, please, contact him! Quote
