Problems in downloading HitRing

Recommended Posts

After getting my authorization from Avangate I was directed to the download but six attempts later and now with a mere 99998 downloads left there's something I'm not doing. I get the Winrar window and see the "Extracting the OverFlandersfields_HitR.zip" but it only gets me to 99 percent and then disappears. I went to the program but it didn't show as a banner across the beginning of BHAH so I've started six times in all and get stuck at the same point. 99 percent. I tried a brand new download but the same thing is happening. Could there be a new procedure? Is there someone who can spell out exactly what I should see when the extraction is over? I was expecting to see "Done" or "Finished" but the window just goes. No sign on the desktop either. Where's it gone? Be glad of some pointers please.

I'd say create 2 Temporary Folders in your documents

OFF HitR #1, and OFF HitR #2

Target #1 for the download, unzip to #2 . . Then install

Also sometimes the Win Rar that came with your computer isn't up to the task

In that case http://files.uberdow....com/unrar.html

Thanks again but now the problem is resolved. I didn't have to make any temporary files. I had virtually given up for an hour or so before diving into the problem again and had my emails Outlook open. Then, all of a sudding, to my astonishment, a window came up with the moving bar and saying that it was being installed, appeared in my middle monitor (I've got TH2Go) and within an hour or so, it was done. A long time I felt but that wasn't a problem. My first viewing show that the setup screen is much sharper than previously which had been considerably disjointed with the first BHAH. I put this down to some sort of conflict with my TH2Go but now it's crystal clear and set up in the middle monitor.

Your HitR downloaded zip file should be 418,906 KB. If that's what you got then try shutting down your computer, wating a few minutes, then restart. Somethings not working right.
