Devs - P4 Suggestion

One treat for me is pre-dawn or twilight missions

Unfortunately, these are very few and far between (at least on my set-up)

Day Lock is off and I haven't changed any time settings

 

I fly Summer 1918 almost exclusively so I was wondering if this was the problem

So I enlisted a new pilot as close to the Winter Solstice as possible

Esc 17, Dec 9, as a fighter pilot

 

Results were the same with 3 post dawn and 3 pre twilight missions thru Dec 11

Missions start times varied by only about 10 min each day

8:20, 11:40 14:50

 

If my enemy was doing this, I'd make sure I was over his field at 8:10...

 

So my suggestion is to make pre dawn take-offs a regular part of OFF

Last missions of the day should include some twilight or post sunset landings

I'm not suggesting this be an absolute every day thing

Take-off for individual flights and missions varied I'm sure

I also found an anomaly while I was researching this:

I enlisted into Esc 17 as a Fighter Pilot

Esc 17's tour of duty runs from Sept 1, 1917 thru May 22, 1918

Throughout that time it is listed as a Bombing/Recce Squad flying 1 1/2 Strutters
