Gents, I placed the AH-1W inside the Desert Storm Campaign/scenario but I'm facing a prob. The main prop is static and do not rotate under any circunstance. Is there any fix for it? The model's from Capun. Thanks! :dntknw::good:

Wilches,

Try this setting on the #3 engine

PropDiameter=6.1

If that doesn't work then reduce the diameter until the rotors begin to turn.

another question on the AH-1W.

Does anybody have an idea why I can't fire AGM-114 A&F hellfire missiles from the AH-1W????

I've tried mucking about with it but they just won't fire at all.

(could it be something to do with Hellfires being laser guided?!?!) :dntknw:

example of partial data from zeewolf

LoadLimit=500.0

AllowedWeaponClass=RP,RCKT,LGB,LGR,EOGB,EOGR,GP,ATR,WGR --- it should be one of these

AttachmentType=NATO,USAF,USN ----- the weapon belongs to these countries/groups

ModelNodeName=Pylon_Lo ---- i don't know what your modelname is but you should leave this part alone

PylonMass=25

i recomend you use weapon pack 2.5 the big one out their for series 1 game of either woi or whatever you have and if needed run it through weapon's program

example of loadout of minimal performance from zeewolf

Loadout[01].WeaponType=AGM-114a

Loadout[01].Quantity=1

Loadout[01].RackType=//M299

Loadout[02].WeaponType=AGM-114a

Loadout[02].Quantity=1

Loadout[02].RackType=//M299

Loadout[03].WeaponType=AGM-114a

Loadout[03].Quantity=1

Loadout[03].RackType=//M299

Loadout[04].WeaponType=AGM-114a

Loadout[04].Quantity=1

Loadout[04].RackType=//M299

hope it help and if you have any question capun at ateam site can help you help.

Thanks for your reply.

The problem wasn't getting the hellfire to appear on the pylon, as they show up fine in game.

The problem was that once I select Hellfires while flying a mission, I can't fire them at a target they won't fire at all.

I've tried with TOW missile, rocket pods etc. and they work fine.

If the Hellfire variant you are carrying is laser guided, you must have a laser designator, either built into the aircraft data.ini, or a pod.

Otherwise, they won't work.
