Hi. I'm currently having an ebook craze. Any good aviation fiction / history books to recommend (Cold War or Modern era)?

Grab 'Boyd: The Fighter Pilot Who Changed The Art of War" (or something to that effect)

I've said it before in these forums: "F4 Phantom, a Pilots Story" by Robert Prest, second hand easily obtainable.

A great look at the RAF in the '70 's and the European NATO scene as well as the the UK Phantom's .

Don't know if it's available as an e book, but ABE books, Amazon and E Bay have plenty available....

It's really worth having, being written by an operational pilot.

Ive read Scream of Eagles. Its a great book describing what pilots in USA had to go trough in the beginning of the vietnam war before the Top Gun school was created.

You'll also want to read 'Black Aces High' by the same author.
