+Stary Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 View File Thunderstorm weather mod (experimental) (Experimental) Thunderstorm weather mod for SF2 series by Thirdwire series 1 compatibility fix included made in and tested with merged SF2+Expansion Pack1 may 2010 by Stary 21.05.2010 -------------------------------------- This little modification replaces default rain effect with heavy thunder. Random lightnings, heavy rain, distant clouds lighted by electrical discarges and raindrops on screen are modelled. Unfortunately, no thunder/rain sound attached, as current environment engine seems not to allow to do so. -------------------------------------- Thanks to USAFMTL for betatesting. -------------------------------------- file edit: updated with readme, sorry! +Stary Posted May 21, 2010 Author Posted May 21, 2010 Thanks Stary. Going to test it in SFP1 :) I hope it will, it's based on my old version from a year ago made in WOV so should, if not I'll have to tweak it more (or do any install of series1 for compatibility sake) Quote
+Spillone104 Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 Well.. It works just fine. But... Is there a way to decrease the frequency of lightning... It seems to be inside a Tesla coil. Quote
+Stary Posted May 21, 2010 Author Posted May 21, 2010 Unfortunately not an easy way -the particles system currently rejects long intervals (in seconds) between spawning particles in given emitter... I've set them originally to appear several seconds apart, doesn't work, still spawns few per second -apply to all effects I introduced here. I'd love to have them between 3,4 up to 10, maybe 15 seconds, with some random factor, but nogo atm. I'm still trying to lower the number of spawned effects as they indeed do look a bit off. Quote
