+daddyairplanes Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 maybe its cause im still up at 1:32 in the AM. maybe my brain is mush from starting up school again after a 16 year hiatus. i read the KB and know it can be done. however........... how do i move a mods folder into an external harddrive? the game it's self is nice and settled in there just cant figure out how to get it to read the mods folder so i can add the new revised NF4+ thanks for the help one and all Quote
+Spectre_USA Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 Err, right click -> copy, go to external drive, right click -> paste, maybe? Quote
+daddyairplanes Posted June 30, 2010 Author Posted June 30, 2010 (edited) actually tried that. no joy core game is in a program files folder in my F drive(external). i set up a saved games folder in the same but the game isnt reading it as such and after each startup of the game to see if it took a new folder pops up in the C drive saved games folder. i also tried to put a copy ofthe options ini in the core folder. again no joy. i also edit the options ini to read as being in the folder for the F drive Edited June 30, 2010 by daddyairplanes Quote

xclusiv8 Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 as my dad always says, there are no stupid questions only stupid answers p.s i know it has nothing to do with the thread Quote
+daddyairplanes Posted June 30, 2010 Author Posted June 30, 2010 um ok maybe that didnt work. the game automatically adds the mods folder to C:\ myputer\Saved Games\ThirdWire\Nato Fighters when started. what i want to happen is for it to goto F:\ my book\Saved Games\Thirdwire\NATO Fighters. i changed the line in the NATO Fighters ini to direct the options folder there but still no joy. +daddyairplanes Posted June 30, 2010 Author Posted June 30, 2010 nevermind all it did work. i might have wanted to change the name of the (install) ini when i made it something different. version i heard of the old saying xclusiv8 was there are no stupid questions only stupid people. guess i proved that one. thanks to everyone for the assist Quote
