Creepy847 Posted July 10, 2004 Posted July 10, 2004 (edited) Archer I love zzz's 5.0 ,but your latest sound mods are excellent. Not taking anything away from Z's ,but youve done your homework. Im a firm believer that good sounds from mech to envoirment are one of the most important factors for imersion type game play. I want to say thank you for your hard work an hope you'll surprise us with more quality work. Im sure there are many sim pilots that would say the same thing. paralyzer Posted July 10, 2004 Posted July 10, 2004 Great sounds Archer, Played with them last night and they are crisp and clear. The explosion sounds are great! Did you leave out ExplodeWater2 intentionally? Quote
ARCHER Posted July 10, 2004 Author Posted July 10, 2004 must admit i like the after burner sound from flyby it sounds awesome, just like the real jets B) Quote

paralyzer Posted July 12, 2004 Posted July 12, 2004 Thank you Archer, Very much appreciated. Since you created these amazing sounds. I just wanted to get an idea on the various volume settings. So far I have everything on defaults except the ENGINES is at 50 percent. Thanks again Quote
Koku Posted July 13, 2004 Posted July 13, 2004 Where do you extract the files to? and Thanks for the Sounds. I can not wait to try them out. Quote
+Ruggbutt Posted July 13, 2004 Posted July 13, 2004 I converted them to LOMAN compatible, so if you use LOMAN 2.1 it self installs. Quote
Koku Posted July 13, 2004 Posted July 13, 2004 Sorry forgot to mention that i am not using LOMAN. I notice that the files do not quite look like the WAV files found in the efects folder Quote
GhostDog Posted July 13, 2004 Posted July 13, 2004 Hi Koku and welcome to Biohaz. I can really recommend using LoMan for adding skins and sounds etc... makes life so much easier Quote
Koku Posted July 13, 2004 Posted July 13, 2004 Thanks for the welcome. Ok my curiosity got the best of me and i have decided to download LOMAN 2.1 How does it work? Quote
GhostDog Posted July 13, 2004 Posted July 13, 2004 its pretty straight forward: LoMan creates a folder called "addons" where you dump the different mods likie skins and sounpacks etc.. I have a shortcut on my desktop where i just drag the zipfiles to. Then you run LoMan and choose "add-on manager". YOu can now see a list of the mods in addon folder with a desccription on the right, perhaps a screenshot and an "install" and an uninstall" button. Green are installed - red are not installed.... easy Quote
GhostDog Posted July 13, 2004 Posted July 13, 2004 hmm.... just take it easy on the weapon sounds pack for now: This just came to my attention. It seems that some of the sounds in the weapon mods install in the wrong directory. Quote
+Ruggbutt Posted July 13, 2004 Posted July 13, 2004 I screwed up. I sent you the new ones Ghost as well as a link to grab all of them put into one Archers Complete LockOn sound mod file. Quote
GhostDog Posted July 13, 2004 Posted July 13, 2004 The fixed Weapons/explosions pack and the new Complete pack is now uploaded - thanks Rugg Quote
