canopy closing?

I can't find out which key in WOV operates the opening and closing of the canopy . the ones i want are the Mohawk OV-1C and the skyraider A1 -h. The Mohawk shows up with the side panels of the canopy open. I can't seem to get them to close. Is there a standard key for all planes?

I dont think there is actually - but its one of the animation keys - might be Shift + 1 to shift+0 so try them. This of course assumes said parts are mapped to animation keys properly.

we modders have unoffically chosen shift/0 for canopy, shift/9 for wing folds

Don't forget to add the SystemName= to either the Fuselage or Nose sections of the Data ini

 

which A-1H? Montys??? I remember setting it up for the update pak (ver6???)(which has gotten another overhaul for KAW)

 

but you'll have to go into the Options --> controls --> customize to set up the animation key stroke. They're down at the bottom of the list.

I have a similar problem with a English Electric Lightning F6 the canopy is open while your in flight

covered about a gazillion times already ... check the Knowledge Base, look for a thread titled something like 'Converting AutoSpeed canopies to animation keys'
