Riley64 Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 I was just wondering how many virutal pilots build model aircraft whether the RC or the plastic kind, like myself. Quote
macelena Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 I do. Mostly jets in 1/72, but also some tanks and troops in 1/35. Next things i am to do are a F-5B, a Phantom, an Starfighter and an Strike Eagle in 1/72, and a Mirage IIIE in 1/48. All Italeri Quote
Riley64 Posted November 23, 2010 Author Posted November 23, 2010 1/72 is my scale as well, I'm waiting with baited breath for this weekend as to start a Hasegawa F/A-18F which I'm to make as a RAAF No 1 Squadron aircraft. I've had the kit for about two months waiting for photos of the actual aircraft so as to work the decals. Quote
Derk Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 Total about 100, 1:72 mostly, and some 1:32...., enough for a nice Cold War airshow line-up:heat: Houdoe, Derk Quote
malibu43 Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 I build/fly RC as well as fly real planes. Quote
Riley64 Posted November 24, 2010 Author Posted November 24, 2010 (edited) I build/fly RC as well as fly real planes. What type of planes do you fly as a real pilot, military, airliner or general aviation? Edited November 24, 2010 by Riley64 Quote
DWCAce Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 I haven't build a model in over 12 years, just haven't had the time or place to assemble one. When I do have the time, I fly as a copilot (kinda of an internship) in an MU-2B-60, and fly C-172's and PA-44's to keep current. Quote
