Bombs for the Skunk Works Aviatik C2

I've downloaded the AviatikC2 from Skunkworks.

 

The four bombs for it did not show in the game.

 

I read the threads on adding 3rd party aircraft, how to edit the aircraft data and weapon data according to the game data. But after ensuring the info in the WeaponData, AviatikC2_data and AViatikC2 loadout for the Bomb11kg all match,still no bombs appear in the game.

I've noted the differences between the SE5a (whose bombs do show in the game) and Aviatik loadout files. Is the Aviatik file an older, unworkable, format?

 

Help would be appreciated. Bombers without bombs are no fun.

FE/FEG (ie: 1stGen) or FE2? Makes a BIG difference in how weapons are handled.

 

IF FE2, and the new style plug-and-play individual weapons folders, your WeaponData number is wrong. They're ALWAYS

Hi wrench, FEG for this particular problem.

 

I run FE2 as well but I haven't modded anything with it, I had no success loading the Flanders terrain, so I thought I might learn some basics with FEG quicker by following the path of those before me. I only started flying TW and FE a month ago....so, so much to pick up.

With help, I've been successful with FEG 3rd party crates, skins, terrain and FMs. I've even created my own airfields. Its only with ordnance that I have hit a wall. I've read and applied what I could find, but no joy. FE(G or 2) is still a premier sim and I dont want to miss out on any of the mods. I plod determinedly onwards.

Have you downloaded any of the new Flight Models made by Peter01? They are new "DATA.ini, Config Settings.ini and Loadout.ini" for almost all aircraft. Especially the SkunkWorks models. They are found in the FE/FE2 download section under "Add-on Aircraft" all the way at the bottom. I use all of hem. Makes a big difference.

G'day, quack, yes I'm using Pete01's FMs and yes for the few aircraft I've flown they make a great difference, but still no bombs for the Aviatik. I've been fiddling with this bomb problem all weekend now. The wife thinks I'm insane, yet again.

 

Look, I know from experience these thing should work, its just a program after all, right? I've missed something, left something out or just got it all wrong. I just wanted to know that the data I posted above was at least correct or valid, and I assume that for FEG, it is. As for FE2, I will get to that another time. It would be great if one of you guys lived next door and could come over, share a beer and fix this. It would be a damn sight easier too. However, leave it with me. I'll get to the solution eventually. I always have. You'll hear the cheering when I do.
