I know I have asked about this before, but I would like to know if Aircraft Carrier Operations are still being worked on by someone, or is it a dead issue?

Does anyone know?

Bring on the big gray "boats"! I used to have a CMC who was a BMCM who would literally cringe if a sailor used the word "boat" to describe a carrier.

Well I think its being held back in the fact that you can't land on a carrier in the game.

There are carriers in the game that can be added on as scenery. I have seen the mod from cargo ship to carrier. But the TF 58 is much better. Gives OHPs and the carrier.

Digital Overload just made another carrier. SimHQ thread http://www.simhq.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cg...c;f=55;t=012542

So it is possible to do approaches to the deck but no landing yet.

Ya could always go to http://homepage3.nifty.com/ysflight/frmindexe.html They have working carriers LOL

Hey Beer,

From what I have read on SimHQ, it appears there is a new Vietnam Era sim in the works. That is all I could glean from the posts.

Doesn't appear to have anything to do with SFP1. I would really like it, though, if the aircraft in SFP! could be used in this "mysterious" new sim.

The detail and fantastic graphics will be hard to duplicate.
