Wilches Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 Gents, just downloaded the Razbam's F-102A/SFP2. I must say - fantastic!! The cockpit puts everything in a shade! Highly recommended. Give a try. http://razbam.org/ Quote
+PureBlue Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 I like it too, only it's a real pain to try to keep eyes on a bandit. I feel so vulnerable in it.. Quote
+Soulfreak Posted January 17, 2011 Posted January 17, 2011 I have it since it came out. Very beautiful!!!! Quote
Jefferson Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 I have a couple questions about it. I'm very interested in getting it simply so that I can fly USAF Mig CAP missions in something more nimble than an F-100C. Will it work with Exp. 2? How does it look in medium graphics in comparison to the other birds. One thing that annoys me is when I get great planes that end up looking horrible in comparison to the stock ones because I have to run med. graphics on my laptop. Quote
Wilches Posted January 28, 2011 Author Posted January 28, 2011 Try this: Extract the FLIGHTENGINE.INI from the FlightData.cat and change the following lines - [LowDetailOption] HorizonDistance=45000.0 DetailMeshSize=2 DetailLevel=0 WaterEffect=0 NoiseTexture=0 MaxTextureRes=1024 <---- [MedDetailOption] HorizonDistance=50000.0 DetailMeshSize=2 DetailLevel=1 WaterEffect=1 NoiseTexture=0 MaxTextureRes=2048 <---- [HighDetailOption] HorizonDistance=60000.0 DetailMeshSize=3 DetailLevel=2 WaterEffect=2 NoiseTexture=1 MaxTextureRes=0 <---- [unlimitedDetailOption] HorizonDistance=75000.0 DetailMeshSize=4 DetailLevel=2 WaterEffect=2 NoiseTexture=1 MaxTextureRes=-1 <---- Save and place the new archive in the "Saved Games" Flight folder. Next and most important is to reduce the size of plane's skins by using a graphic program like Photoshop. I'm almost sure that, in the F-102 case, this won't be necessary once the files are in 1024X1024, wich is a rather small size for the game engine. Cheers!! Quote
