Olham 164 Posted January 14, 2011 Just added a fictional new skin of mine in the "Downloads" section. It is a Jasta 18 skin with their late colour sheme. Under Berthold their nose section was red, and the rest of the fuselage was blue. When August Raben took over the leadership, the changed for Vermillion & White. Most or all aircraft showed a (mostly black) raven, plus individual emblems. This skinning of mine would not have happened without OBD's incredible fund of more than 3.400 skins, from which I always use many parts for my work. I want to make a deep bow with a big respect for your work, you guys! Enjoy!

UK_Widowmaker 571 Posted January 15, 2011 (edited) Only question is..shall I aim at the Bird logo?..or the Ace of Spades through my Snipe's gunsite? decisions, decisions! Edited January 15, 2011 by UK_Widowmaker
Olham 164 Posted January 15, 2011 Well, don't worry too much, olde chap - by the time you can fly a Snipe, I may be flying a Siemens-Schuckert D.III. So you would never see neither the Raven nor the Ace of Spades sign - you would only see my muzzle flash - if you dared to look behind you. Mmuahahahahahahahahaaaaaa!!!!!! Hasse Wind 46 Posted January 15, 2011 Excellent work, as always. That red is the perfect camo colour if you plan to fly to Mars one day.
Olham 164 Posted January 15, 2011 You must really wonder about the courage of some Jasta to expose themselves so obviously with such Anti-Camouflage. Colours nature would choose for blossoms to attract the bees.
Hasse Wind 46 Posted January 15, 2011 The basic factory paint on the Dr's was actually a very good choice for blending in the environment. You, know that colour which looks like ****. The British loved such colours and painted almost all their aircraft with that kind of ****.
RAF_Louvert 101 Posted January 15, 2011 . That's a beauty Olham, well done Sir. Also, while the fecal colors may help hide you against the backdrop of the ground below, I still like a bit of flash on my planes. Throw caution to the wind and look good when you crash and burn. . Olham 164 Posted January 15, 2011 (edited) Yeah - looking shark-sharp when going down, is a German speciality. This one has it's time of camo - when the poppies blow... Edited January 15, 2011 by Olham
