gaw 5 Posted January 27, 2011 hey all.......Olham's FOV settings are marvelous..........anybody tried the same rort over on CFS3? There's no workshop but there's probably a setting parameter somewhere there that'd be fun to play with
almccoyjr 7 Posted January 28, 2011 It looks to be very tedious, but can be done. You'll have to change the fov entries in the viewui file and as well as those in the xpd files. This link will take you to the how to as posted: http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php?t=48615&highlight=field+view plug_nickel
+elephant 36 Posted January 28, 2011 almccoyjr, this is a treasure! The default "fish eye" view in externals, when closing up, is kind of irritating to me... Thankk you sir!
Olham 164 Posted January 28, 2011 If you get a "fish-eye" view, you may choose lower numbers/less degrees.
almccoyjr 7 Posted January 29, 2011 Simviation has 2 downloads with all the aircraft .xpd files changed courtesy of "the ground crew". See read me. The FOVUp and Dn are radical so as to be able to see primary gauges on the panel with out haveing to pan down (for those that aren't using a TIR. http://www.simviation.com/cfs3panels1.htm plug_nickel ps; these views would probably make Olham do a ground loop...lol...
