MajorMagee Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 I love the exaggerated perspective... Taken from this link Quote
+RAF_Louvert Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 . Now that is neat MM, and I've already saved it to my digital art collection. Thanks for sharing Sir. Cheers! Lou . Quote
+elephant Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 Oh, Romain Hugault, a great artist indeed! I have the two first parts of "Le Grand Duc". Quote
+Olham Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 Olala, les Francais - masters of comics art. Good perspective, indeed! Quote
+elephant Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 Here is a preview of the 3rd part of "Le Grand Duc"... Quote
Ratatat Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Ooooh! This looks really good! Elephant, do you know if it is available in English? Quote
Bullethead Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 I love the exaggerated perspective... Great pic, but the poilu lacks a beard.... Quote
+Hasse Wind Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Now that's true art! Maybe the poilu is still so young that his beard growth is limited? Quote
Bullethead Posted February 4, 2011 Posted February 4, 2011 Uncle Al: Or at the very least a three day growth, unless it's his first day in the trenches Hasse Wind: Maybe the poilu is still so young that his beard growth is limited? Both theories are sound. But I also note the lack of mud and muck plastering the beardless poilu, so I tend to favor Uncle Al's 2nd alternative. BTW, what's the French word for a beardless poilu? Seems like a contradiction in terms. Quote
+Olham Posted February 4, 2011 Posted February 4, 2011 But I also note the lack of mud and muck plastering the beardless poilu, ... That's why they are called "Comics", instead of "the harsh reality". Freedom of art. Quote
