Olham 164 Posted March 28, 2011 Without having much knowledge about computers, I can say, that 2,2 GHz is damn short. I am running it on 2,83 GHz, and get stutters still. 4 GB RAM should be enough. Your graphic card I don't know. You shoud try these settings: 5/5/3/2/5/5; cause the "terrain detail", and even much more the "Scenery detail" eat Fraps. Clouds not so much. tranquillo 10 Posted March 28, 2011 I heard that CFS has hickups with amd dual cores? is that true ? any way to fix it ? is this problem in phase 3 ? I'm running with an AMD dual core Phenom II 550 and I've never had problems.
Javito1986 14 Posted March 28, 2011 (edited) Gunz, I run OFF on an Intel Duo @ 2.26GHz, with 3070MB Ram, and an Nvidia 9600M, made for notebooks which means it's actually about a 9500. I run OFF at 1920x1080 Aircraft Detail 5 Terrain Detail 5 Scenery Detail 4 Effects Quality 5 Cloud Quality 5 (this one is necessary, gotta be able to hide in them) And Ground Objective Density is set to High. My Nvidia control panel: Pretty sure I run with low to no anti-aliasing though. Least it says so in the OFF workshop. It's all very adjustable, I don't think you'll have too much trouble to be honest. I've seen OFF stutter and implode sometimes when I turn on all the bells and whistles, but right now I've got it running very comfortably.
