Jesolo Air Extreme 2011 (with Thunderbirds!)

Hi,

this weekend, at Lido di Jesolo, near Venice, there has been the air show Jesolo Air Extreme 2011. Amongst the participants, the USAF display team Thunderbirds for their European tour.

 

The show was opened by an Agusta-Sikorsky HH-3F Pelican of the Italian Air Force:

Beautiful, funny that they even use flares on sportsplanes..... Looking forward to our KLu Open days at Leeuwarden in September, program looks good already..

Great shots! I find that the Frecce Tricolori always steal the show. Saw them here in Sweden last year and boy did they impress.
