trocha nostalgie (Avia B-35)

Recommended Posts

Ahoj,

Co myslíte, necháme ji zalétat alespoň virtuálně, když už to reálně nestihla?

"One more year" & we could buy a number of yours aircraft and defend our countries from air Blitzkrieg...

Interesting that only Bulgarian forces used them at combat (B.135)

BTW: Greate work for this sim and for history Monty! :drinks:

it was build with the il2 specificaions.

What I see is the retractable gear on the il2 version?! Were those two different versions?

Fixed gear is avia b-35, rectractable is b-135. Avia had problem with gear retracting mechanism development so b-35 had fixed one. Later was under german flag sold to Bulgaria (i think 12 aircrafts).

In Bulgaria, Avia B-135 was used mostly as aircraft for instructor pilots, but also saw some combat action against US bombers (B-17 and B-24).
