jjddoo Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 Its me with yet another problem... After installing a few new aircraft, the aircraft wide view and gunsight view controls stopped working (you know - F2 and F3). I tried reassigning them - no go. I removed the new aircraft - still no go. The keys work fine. I can't imagine what in the world is going wrong! Quote
MigBuster Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 can only think a control file was installed with the downloads Is F2 and F3 mapped correctly in the control setup? Quote

Wrench Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 did any of these downloads come with the AircraftObject.ini??? perhaps this might be of assistance: http://combatace.com/topic/32892-controls-not-working-andor-mapped-oddly/ rename AO.ini to test Quote

I just tried reassigning the views to random keys, and that wouldn't work. Here is the coding from my custom assigning. I'm about to go and see if the default assignments will work and get back again. GOTO_COCKPIT_FRONT_VIEW=F1 GOTO_COCKPIT_WIDE_VIEW=F2 GOTO_COCKPIT_GUNSIGHT_VIEW=F3 GOTO_COCKPIT_UP_VIEW=SHIFT+F1 GOTO_VIEW_PADLOCK=F4 Quote
jjddoo Posted October 3, 2011 Author Posted October 3, 2011 Okay - I tried going default, and that didn't work either. This has me baffled! Quote
jjddoo Posted October 4, 2011 Author Posted October 4, 2011 Okay, I got the problem. There was a formations mod that came with the B-52 pack here http://combatace.com/files/file/10230-b-52-vietnam-era-upgrade-pack-40/ that killed those files. Had to remove that. Sorry to bother everyone with a stupid problem.... Quote
