squid Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 is there maybe some way / workaround to install Exp1 over a merged install with Exp2? ... Quote
Fubar512 Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Nope....uninstall and reinstall in order. Quote
squid Posted December 14, 2011 Author Posted December 14, 2011 if maybe manually add the contents of the exp1 as a mod / addon ? ...... Quote
JediMaster Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Actually, I thought if you re-DL'd all the installers as of this month or last month you no longer have to worry about install order, that TK had fixed that problem? If you're using the original installers from when you bought them, then no it won't work. Quote
SFP1Ace Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 If the installers are all at May 2011 patch level or later, then you can install them "orderless" :) Quote
KeyboardChap Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 I installed Exp1 after Exp2 and it works just fine. (Nov 2011 patch level) Quote
squid Posted February 25, 2012 Author Posted February 25, 2012 Is there maybe a chance that the installation of NA would allow a merged SF2 installation based on "the original installers from when you bought them" to be expansion packs "orderless" ? Quote
squid Posted February 29, 2012 Author Posted February 29, 2012 I installed Exp1 after Exp2 and it works just fine. (Nov 2011 patch level) - Is your install a merge one ? - Is your SF2 installation based on prior to May 2011 installer or later ? Quote
KeyboardChap Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 - Is your install a merge one ? - Is your SF2 installation based on prior to May 2011 installer or later ? In answer to the above: 1. No I have seperate mod folders but the aircraft and stuff from the expansions applied to all of them. 2. Based on post-May. Quote
