abyss 1 Posted December 15, 2011 Due to recent hard drive failure I have lost my HiTR file. How do I get another download? What info do I need to provide and who do I provide it to? Thanks Airshark As far as I know you're screwed, luckly the purchase price has been reduced to 10 Bucks. I think they allow you 3 downloads, but there must be a time limit ? I could very easily be wrong about this, if the 10 Bucks is giving you fits, wait for a Developer to respond I know if I just suffered a HD Failure, the 10 spot would be a minor problem, but that's just me

+Polovski 460 Posted December 17, 2011 Hi Airshark, The basic download has a date limit and also has 3 downloads limit, if either one expires it's expired. We have to do that as a basic function to help stop piracy of course. There's an option to keep the download available for 2 years when you purchase originally ("Download Insurance"). Basically as always you should make a hard backup (CD/DVD, USB stick etc), or buy the "Download Insurance". We don't make a lot on the sale and at 9.99 even less, and are a small team so hence the download insurance to avoid us managing this manually. The website says to make a good backup on USB etc. However for this once, and as it's Christmas , if you email support with your order details I'll ask if it's possible to get a new link sent. Cheers Polovski

Certainly not something you can or should do all the time; but in keeping with the spirit of Christmas it is a very kind offer.
