default control files

hello everyone first time on these forums and i have a question.does sf2 save your custom controls to a file.and if it does can you save this file to be your default control settings.i know in il-2 1946 you can rename your custom controls you've set up for your controller to be your default conrols in case something happens and you have to set everything back to your new default settings?

it's called the "Default.ini", and it'll be in the

 

C:\Users\* your name here *\Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2*\Controls

 

*=or whatever game your using is .. it'll be the same for all the SF2 series

similar thing...nearly...Im assuming the flightengine.ini is same one for each of the merged install pilot folders?

its never crossed my mind til now lol

flightengine ini is 'something completly different'* and it's in the /Flight folder

 

(*couldn't resist)!!

yer I stand corrected I meant the Flight folder lol
