Spinners Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 (edited) North American F-100D Super Sabres - 154 Gruppo, 6 Stormo, Aeronautica Militare Italiana, 1961 Italy became the second Western government to order the North American Super Sabre but, unlike France, Italy pushed hard for a production licence and all 80 Italian F-100D's were assembled by a joint Fiat-Piaggio consortium with construction starting in February 1959 and ending in August 1961.
