in particular, on the 'stand in' Leygues class I just relased.

I made the hullnumber decals, thought I'd gotten the pathway correct, and just noticed they're not showing up!

Is there some secret I'm missing (trying this for another CV projects, that's basically just for s & g's)

here's the decal ini ... the positions s/b the same as on the base Spruance I used..

[Decal001]

MeshName=hull

DecalLevel=2

DecalFacing=RIGHT

FilenameFormat=Leygues/Grey/FrShipNum

Position=70.0,6.0

Scale=7.0

DecalMaxLOD=4

[Decal002]

MeshName=hull

DecalLevel=2

DecalFacing=LEFT

FilenameFormat=Leygues/Grey/FrShipNum

Position=70.0,6.0

Scale=7.0

DecalMaxLOD=3

and the screenie is the actual decal folder

it's just weird!

Should there be a FrShipNum000.tga? :dntknw: and there are no decals in the mod zip?

yes, names.lst exists, sitting the the ship's main folder. I followed the 3W format, ship1 gets decal1 (totally different from aircraft!! damn strange, that, I say!)

maybe it's a good thing I forgot the include them!
