+HomeFries Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 I'm trying to create a black and white display, and I have tried replacing GreenTVFilter.bmp with images of different shades of grey. It seems as if the only thing this does is occlude all colors based on the luminosity of the grey used, and the image still displays in full color. Is there anything I can do to make it like a black and white TV instead of a green screen? Quote
+daddyairplanes Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 someone could point the exact answer out better than me but i think it may have something to do in the ini's. i'm thinking something to do with the color values like changing the lights or colors of text. little hopped up on theraflu and nyquil right now so i'm sorry it this isnt too useful but it hopefully gets you in the right direction..... RogerSmith Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 (edited) Someone asked this question a few days ago. I've heard that the color is in the game's engine itself. I have also tried changing the colors of the GreenTVFilter.bmp But I haven't tried messing with EasyAvionics.ini yet, maybe the answer is there. +SupGen Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 (edited) Amadu,(I think) asked the question, and (I think) FC or Fubar answered; no can do. OK, it was EricJ: http://combatace.com/topic/74118-tv-filter-color/ Edited August 28, 2012 by SupGen Quote
+HomeFries Posted August 28, 2012 Author Posted August 28, 2012 D'oh. I was hoping to be pleasantly surprised. Thanks for the quick reply, guys. I'll press on with green. Quote
+EricJ Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 Unfortunately TK didn't move on to black and white displays (remember it models early era screens, not modern) and probably not going to unless a specific .dll is changed, etc. Quote
