+ianh755 Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 Is the original decal Square (ie 200x200 - 100x100 - 2048x2048 etc). If not the game stretches the decal to make it square which results in what you can see above. Quote

+SupGen Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 Thank you .... but how do I fix?? Agostino, the visual (black,LOL) arts are a little out of my range too, but, I bet you could find some clues here: http://combatace.com/topic/76701-making-decals-using-gimp/ . Good Luck! Quote
+FLOGGER23 Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 If in Photoshop, is just matter to make the canvas bigger that the decal itself, if decal measures 200 x 200 make the canvas 210 x 210 Quote
AGOSTINO Posted May 11, 2013 Author Posted May 11, 2013 What decal is it? And it came from? If in Photoshop, is just matter to make the canvas bigger that the decal itself, if decal measures 200 x 200 make the canvas 210 x 210 Excuse me, how do I put my decals available for download?? Quote
+SupGen Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 You'll have to convert it to a .jpg with Gimp or other image program, then just attach it to your post. (If you're using the latest edition of Gimp, you have to use the export function to convert the image.) Quote

+SupGen Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 So, Flogger, what was it? No Alpha layer? As I said before, image programs and me...meh. Might help Agostino, too. Quote
AGOSTINO Posted May 11, 2013 Author Posted May 11, 2013 Try it now :) I tried ... .... same problem ......!!!!! Quote
+SupGen Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 What aircraft is that? Could be a mesh problem. Try a decal that works elsewhere in the same spot and see if it does it, too. Quote
+FLOGGER23 Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 Yeah well, in this case check mesh names, the decal has it´s alpha channel, i made sure to have it Quote
Wrench Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 that don't look like a tga issue, but more of a mesh issue, ala "decal bleed" caused by open meshes might help to actually KNOW what bird that is ... to me, it looks the Teledyne drone thingy as to posting decals, take the tgas, put them in a little folder, zip it up and attach it. Zips attachments are easy Quote

AGOSTINO Posted May 15, 2013 Author Posted May 15, 2013 I know of one last trick, what is the mesh name and the decal location? Fantastic!!!! Can you solve the problem?? Here you go: [Decal015] MeshName=Object0201 DecalLevel=2 DecalFacing=LEFT FilenameFormat=MQM-107D/MQM107T_ Position=-2.60,0.28 Rotation=0.0 Scale=0.40 DecalMaxLOD=3 [Decal016] MeshName=Object0201 DecalLevel=2 DecalFacing=RIGHT FilenameFormat=MQM-107D/MQM107T_ Position=-2.60,0.28 Rotation=0.0 Scale=0.40 DecalMaxLOD=3 I am tuned!!!! +RAVEN Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 Well it’s not going to work, the mesh looks to be a clone or a mirror and the pivot or Xform was not reset(best guess)I’ll give you my data. First off I made the Decal “Canvas size” 110px wide 880px high. The screen shot of the left side ,(best I could get), right side all no go. If you put the decal on the tail top section (Object05) it shows inverted. Looks like you’ll have to put the decals somewhere else. [Decal001] MeshName=Object0201 DecalLevel=0 DecalFacing=LEFT FilenameFormat=MQM-107D\DRONE/D/1545 Position=-2.67,0.27 Rotation=1.20 Scale=0.20 DecalMaxLOD=3 [Decal002] MeshName=Object0201 DecalLevel=0 DecalFacing=Right FilenameFormat=MQM-107D\DRONE/D/1545 Position=-2.67,0.27 Rotation=0.0 Scale=0.20 DecalMaxLOD=3 Quote

Wrench Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 or simply just not use a decal .. it's a drone, designed to die in a spectacular, proper military manner Quote
