I couldn't find any info in the knowledgebase about the formation.ini file.

I know how to increase the size of a flight, but are there more modding possibilities?

Can we break it down to mission types?

I'm actually trying to find out how I can actually reduce the size of formations, particularly when you find yourself either flying with or against formations of 12 to 16 aircraft. Reducing formations to a size of 8 would be more manageable; if only I knew how.....

Is these large formations happening in campaigns or single missions?

In campaigns, lowering the supply of concerned units might do the trick!

Haven't played a campaign for a while, what with wedding planning et all, but in single missions (sweep, CAP, strike) AI flights of between 12 to 16 seems to be the norm
