Beanie 4 Posted January 7, 2014 Before Christmas Hauksbee, put his Trakir up for grabs. I was luckly to be the first person to see the post. The Trackir is now up and running and works a dream. Thank you Hauksbee for your most generious gesture - you are a true gentlemen. Beanie

Olham 164 Posted January 7, 2014 Hauksbee, you are a good egg! I hope it was a replacement act, and you still use a newer version? Nothing can beat the TrackIR cockpit view IMHO.
Hauksbee 103 Posted January 8, 2014 I hope it was a replacement act, and you still use a newer version? Yes, the cat took to playing with the dangling wires (it was hanging on a bookshelf), pulled it down and got rough on the headset part. I told Beanie that condition of the gift was that he'd have to do the field repairs. 'Seems it worked out well. And, I do have a new one. Once you use TrackIR, there's no going back. . Welcome back to you. I trust you had a good relaxing time home in E. Frieseland?
JimAttrill 24 Posted January 8, 2014 I have kept quiet about this, but Mark (Winding Man) Andrews gave me his TrackIR mk 3 a couple of years ago. I'm still using it (now with 5.2 software) in WOFF. As he lives close by, I was able to collect it personally. Thank you Mark

Hauksbee 103 Posted January 9, 2014 And Pol let me have his (though he did sell it...bloody tightwad!) Perhaps he used the proceeds from the TrackIR sale to underwrite the development of the new Snipe?
