Olham 164 Posted March 23, 2014 Well, I found out that the America Glenn L. Martin Company was said to have used self-sealing tanks first in their planes. In 1918 they built the bombers MB-1 and MB-2, but it seems they didn't see service anymore. One of the first WW2 planes with such tanks was the Fairy Battle.
