+Soulfreak 6,527 Posted March 18, 2014 Anyone else still using them besides Turkey? Well, Iran & Greece still uses the Recce Rhino (E). About Japan I´m not sure if they still got their RF-4EJ in service...
+daddyairplanes 10,266 Posted March 18, 2014 Turkey uses the E also i thought. esp got a bunch when germany retired theirs. the FB post that led me to this was from a Phantom phan group, and stated the last frontline RF-4Cs. the last drone conversions were RFs, but dont think that counts as frontline
future_tuskegee_airman 13 Posted March 19, 2014 (edited) From my knowledge, South Korea still has a few D and E Phantoms in service, and are scheduled to be replaced completely when they receive either more F-15s or the F-35.They also are trying to develop a 5th gen fighter of their own design (with tech assistance from LockMart). Turkey has there F-4E 20/20 Terminators. Iran has recently upgraded their D's and E's. Japan still flies E's Recce pod equipped RF-4EJ's and RF-4C's as well.
