How do you play your campaigns?

I am wondering...

 

How you guys do you play the campaigns?

Do refly when you're killed/POW? Or do you start a new one? (I tend to do this, but it can be very frustrating).

Do you play on normal? Hard? And what about supply? Limited? Unlimited?

I play on limited supply, with normal difficulty since hard difficulty seems to, among other things, remove friendly squads. But honestly, flying campaigns these days is mostly just testing something or the other. 

I do try to iron man it and quit once I am shot down but not always.

I play on max hard settings, but with a normal ammo supply. The amount of munitions you expend in the first days of the war (esp. in NF5) is pretty staggering. I've actually run into issues with the NA campaigns because I was almost out of AIM-54's by the time the Backfires showed up and I wasn't able to get past the first cruise missile attack.
