Iceland shadows

I don't play the Iceland map very often, but I have used some mods. I was playing today and saw these shadows extending TOWARDS my aircraft while on the ground. Has anyone seen these?

Must be a shadow issue with a ground object.

A screenshot from the object that causes this would be helpful.

For some objects there are updates available.

it's shadow artifacts caused by the pit1.lod. It's been reported to TK several times over the last 3 or so years.

 

copy/paste the text below into a blank notepad "sheet", and 'Save As...'  pit1.ini in ALL your terrain folders (meaning, it goes into each and every one!. if said terrain subfolder don't exist, create one in the relevant mod folder)

If it is pit1,

then use the update Russ did a while back.
