Weapons for SAAB 21

Hi,all.
have Been Working on the SAAB 21 for a while,and now finaly come to the armament part;

Look ing for some guns bombs rockets etc we already have,or any corresponding info would useful,many thanks.

According to Wikipedia and other sources, the  J 21A-3 variant and A-21 were armed with underwing pylons for either eight 14,5cm rockets, two 18cm rockets or two napalm bombs. AEF.se says the following of the armnament options

 

 

A21A kunde även bära en 600 kg bomb (alternativt 500 eller 250 kg) placerad under mittvingen, dessutom fyra 50 kg bomber under vardera yttervingen. Som alternativ till bomber kunde två 18cm raketer och åtta 14,4cm raketer medföras.

Translation: The A21A could carry a 600kg bomb (alternatively a 500 or 250kg) slung under the middle of the wing, in addition four 50kg bombs under the outer wing. As an alternative to bombs two 18cm rockets and (should probably be or?) and 8 14,4cm rockets be carried.

those rockets and racks should be available in the Gunny Pak. We've had them since 2006

The J-21A (prop version) was an interceptor aircraft and carried only cannon. A-21 and A-21R could carry rockets and smaller bombs. J 21 and J 21R could however carry a ridicilous gunpod with 8 machineguns. I have images if you need em.

Internal Weapons:
1x20 mm Automatkanon m/41, (20mm Cannon)
4x13 mm automatkanon m/39 (13mm Cannon)
 

I for one hope you will do the J 21R as well. I am very interested in one for TSF. If you need anything else, you just let me know. I would be happy to beta test... ;-)

Great!Thanks for providing support,all of you guys...

 

so far,had install most of the guns,20MM_HISPANO2 and 50CAL_M2,not for sure,found some info says they using 50cal for this 13.2 mm M/39A.for rockets,found 15cm(15cm-m51) and 18cm(18cm-m49) in my weaponry and few weapon pak,but no sign of 100 and 80.

 

I for one hope you will do the J 21R as well. I am very interested in one for TSF. If you need anything else, you just let me know. I would be happy to beta test... ;-)

 

 i believe A-Team already make one,saw a pic on their homepage.

well,i can some modification for jet version,but will take a long while,if you dont mind.

Mate, if this is very early then I cannot wait for the finished product. It is simply put amazing.

As for a pit, Stary made a very fitting stand-in unless you plan to make a real one.
