Chutedangle Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 So we take off from base to hit a rail bridge. Two F-117's, me and crazy Joe. My auto pilot kills the lights once I am up and running. I am sailing through the sky all black and feeling stealthy. I look over at my wingman and the fool looks like a flying christmas tree. He does the whole flight winking and blinking. There is no command to tell him to tone it down. Not to mention I can't seem to hit the ground bombing from that plane. Just another day on the job.
Emp_Palpatine Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 Wingmen fly all lights on, until waypoint 3 or 4, i.e. entering "danger zone", when they switch them off.
Chutedangle Posted June 3, 2014 Author Posted June 3, 2014 OK, that's how that works. I didn't think someone could over look something like that. Thanks for the info.
Chutedangle Posted June 3, 2014 Author Posted June 3, 2014 (edited) yeah, someone should of told my boy. That moron flew the whole mission lit up like a rock concert. Edited June 3, 2014 by Chutedangle
+Fubar512 Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 That's why the F-117's lights should all be set up as landing lights, as they were originally.
