As you'ld know I'm a big fan of Russo's Hawk & T-45 .....

Having some heavy duty (for me) skin (to made from temps) in the works,  sometimes I like to have break and easy skin/reskin some old but gold plane in our collection ....

Several Hawks are done and some are in the pipeline ....

One of my favorite plane was the T-45A Goshawk too.

So I decided to reinstall  and navalize as for SF-2NA standard.

here the plane http://combatace.com/topic/64462-t-45a-goshawk-for-sf2/

here the upgrade http://combatace.com/files/file/12720-hawk-t1a-and-t45-fixes7z/

No way to fix the catapult take off: the plane rotates, explodes or fall in the water ....

Someone has tried to upgrade this before?  Nobody was able to fix it?  Please share.

Maybe Kevin could upgrade his great pack too ..... :frantic:

Thank you in advance.

Paul

Use this CGPostion=0.0,1.8,0.0 into the data.ini located in the [AircraftData] section) and remove this line: CockpitCGOffset=TRUE located just below the CGPosition parameter and problem fixed.

No apologies neede, Russ!! This new version is nice!

------------------

the C would need a new pit, with 2 MFDs

I came across the pdfs of the NATOPS manuals for both the A and C models (unfortunately, a "read at this site only" kind of thing), and both the A and C appear to have a HUD of some kind

I want to experiment a bit, using the F-100D_68 pit, that has the RWR, and add a hud. Won't have the MFD, but might look a bit better

and just for grins and giggles, I did the skin below, for a more modern "in action" service. Obviously, some the decals (well, a LARGE number) will need redoing for the "Lo-Viz" style, but that's easy.

canty remember   try this

Russo, may I ask for another favor?

Would it be possible, that the air intakes can be mapped seperately and that the end of the tail hook too?

In the way it is now mapped skinning in that Areas is not really possible. :-(
